Shoot 5 Edits
I decided to focus on the images being at night because I feel like that fits in with my theme of adverture and trying to survive in the woodland. This is my second favorite shoot because It involves images from my favorite shoot and I got to focus on the whole 'fire' side of the project that I like. I would have liked my model to be in these images so I could've had him sitting around the burning images but he was busy and I also feel like that couldve been too dangerous as the fires near the end did get quite big and where giving off a lot of smoke.

I edited this photo in the style of Kyle Thompson. By this I mean that I made the reds really stong and the back ground dark. Thats why the image looks af it it was took at night when really it was took in the middle of the day. To achive this I changed the levels to make the background darker and then I added a red filter over the whole image to make it feel warmer.

With this image I wanted to achive the same warmth but I wanted it to be more close up. I took five different shots like this on the same image but this was the only one in focus. This was because I was using a manual zoom. I had to use a manual zoom because my camera was running low and battery and didnt want to auto focus. I also used a manual zoom becasuse I wanted to achive the background being out of focus without having to editi it myself. To edit this image I first changed the leves to make the fire a lot more colourfill and the background darker. I then balanced the colours so that the reds where strong and were more apparent in the image more

This was my favorite image that was effected by the fire because the sides completely burned on the image but you could still see the models face. To start off I cropped the image to make that frame the only one in focus. I then balanced the colours to make the reds stonger and more apparent. After this I chaged the leves to make the image seem like it was at night. I decided to focus on the images being at night because I feel like that fits in with my theme of adverture and trying to survive in the woodland. With a photo like this I thought it would've been good to have my models face also in the image sat beside it but that couldve been too dangerous and may have caused harm.

With this image I wanted to stray away from the warmth and I wanted to have a juxtaposition of the warm red/orange fire but the overall image looks dark and the fire isnt giving off any light. I achived this my making the fire a lot more full of reds in the colour picker and then I added small blue filter over the image. The blue filter is only noticable because the fire is in the image and its contrasting colour. This make the image seem more at night but as if the fire isnt giving off anylight around it.

I liked how the fire looked in this image because it covers the sides of the frame rather than just the whole photoframe. To start off I cropped the image so it was mostly focus on one image rather than the two that where in the image originally. I changed the curves on the image to make the grass darker and so you can only see a small amount of the grass. I raised the saturation on the image because I wanted the fire to be more colourful.
